Song-A-Day: It Was There (That I Saw You)
Welcome to the first installment of Song-A-Day, a daily feature where I highlight songs that are currently doing it for me. Offbeat, indie, mainstream - you'll see songs of all shapes and sizes. Today we have "It Was There (That I Saw You)," my favorite track from Source Tags & Codes, the third album from ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead - one of the best albums of the last decade, and probably one of the best alternative rock albums ever made.
Fair warning: the drums here will ruin most other rock bands for you.
