As the years go on, my respect for Jack White only grows. Not only does he form his own band and label to put out his music; not only does he form a super-group, and then one more for good measure... He's probably the only musician of his generation with a singular, distinct voice. So much so that he can silence a room filled with everyone from the President to Sir Paul McCartney with his rendition of McCartney's own "Mother Nature's Son." In a musical landscape slipping further and further into mediocrity (and if we're being honest, it's been well past mediocre for a while now), he's worth his weight in gold.
God bless Jack White.
